Growing Owen...

You know it's bad when you only blog after holidays! That should be an indication that the Bryant's are just too busy and need to slow down. So for anyone who is interested, here's what has been happening lately...the weather has gotten warmer and thank goodness because all Owen wants to do is stay outside, which is fine with me. We set up our new sand and water table (and had a small picnic--see the peanut butter face) and have also been riding our John Deere tractor. Owen's favorite thing to do, however, is to ride the lawnmower, which he generally just refers to as a "ride it". :) Here are some pics...

Finally...A Christmas Blog

Hi all! I have been a terrible blogger. Owen has been sick recently, as have I and Daniel, so since the holidays, I've been focusing on getting everyone healthy. Now that we are, I am going to be more faithful with my blogging. We had an amazing Christmas. It was very fun for Owen this year. Last year he was so tiny he had no idea what was going on...this year was a different story! He learned quickly how to open presents (thanks to EVERYONE for all of the great gifts, by the way) and he loves all of his gifts. My wonderful hubby chose a great gift for me this Christmas (something I've been eyeing forever)--a video camera! So I was able to get all of Christmas 2007 on video!!! Unfortunately I have yet to be able to get that video onto this blog but I'm working on it...so stay tuned!

Early Christmas

We started off the holiday season tonight with Daniel's Aunt Sandi and Uncle John, and their kiddos Nick and Kaci (and Kaci's boyfriend, Matt). After a good dinner at O'Charleys we returned to our house to exchange gifts. As you can see, Owen is loving his t-ball set, which I also appreciate because it's a good indoor or outdoor gift! Thank ya'll very much!!! :)

Playing Superman

Hi all--it's been awhile since our last post. We are doing well but have been very busy with the Christmas season. Owen took a break from Christmas shopping to play Superman. We use dishtowels (he prefers the Christmas red with reindeer) as capes! As you can see in the photos, today Superman was playing the bad guy and running away with Dad's remote control.

Mums

For anyone who's moved, you probably know that you spend the first six months after moving finding things about your new house that you like (of course, there are always things that you don't like too...). One of the things that I like are these GORGEOUS mums that the folks who lived here before us planted. I'm not usually a big fan of mums but these are super-pretty...Owen likes them too!
